When I started this blog about starting my own play therapy business, I aimed to publish a new entry every week. Little did I know that life would have other plans for me! Life often works in surprising ways. Despite my good intentions, I quickly got caught up in a whirlwind of responsibilities and tasks. But fear not, dear readers—I'm back with exciting news that I can’t wait to share!

The New Play Therapy Office Journey Begins

Life has a unique way of illustrating that our plans may not unfold as we hoped. Between daily tasks and unexpected commitments, I struggled to keep up with my writing schedule about anything play therapy related. My goal of weekly blog posts turned into an aspiration that I did not meet in any way, shape, or form.

Yet, as I reflect, it’s the unpredictability of this journey that makes it so compelling. It’s not merely about the frequency of my posts; it's about the stories that shape my growth and serve as reminders of why I embarked on this path. For instance, I learned to appreciate the value of adaptability—not just in my blogging, but in life.

Exciting News: My Own Office!

Now for the most thrilling update— I have my very own play therapy office! After only 3 short months of subletting, the person I was subletting from offered me a dedicated space to call my own in the office as a whole. Although it may lack windows, this office sparks endless enthusiasm in me. It means I have a place where I can focus and unleash my creativity.

The difference of having a personal office cannot be overstated. Research indicates that having a dedicated workspace can increase productivity by up to 20%. By creating a boundary between work and home, I can think clearly and work more efficiently. My play therapy office isn't just four walls; it’s a canvas for my ambitions. I look forward to utilizing this space to its fullest potential.

A New Play Therapy Office Environment for Growth

Having my own play therapy office means I can extend my availability for client sessions. This change is significant! With a flexible schedule, I can accommodate more clients and add more evening sessions—addressing a need for many who seek support.

Gearing Up for a New Era

As I transition into this new chapter of my own play therapy business, I aim to infuse my personality and style into my play therapy office. From selecting personalized decor to creating an environment that nurtures creativity, each decision contributes to a space that feels welcoming.

I envision an inspiring atmosphere to help children and adolescents feel safe sharing and creating, with comfortable seating for brainstorming, vibrant artwork to spark creativity, and a neatly organized bookshelf filled with resources relevant to my work. Each element will not only enhance my workflow but will also invite collaboration. A well-designed space can boost creativity, and I aim to embody that in my office.

Future Blog Posts and Client Connections

With this exciting change, you can look forward to more updates from me! I plan to document the transformations in my office and how these changes influence my work.

For anyone curious about the practical aspects of office life, I will provide tips on effective time management and balancing client needs. This space isn’t just mine; I envision it as an inspiring hub for everyone who visits, whether in person or online.

The Importance of Perseverance

Reflecting on my journey, I realize that perseverance is vital. Life rarely follows a predictable path; sometimes we stumble and stray off course. However, it is in these moments that we discover our resilience, regroup, and rise even stronger.

Taking a break from blogging taught me valuable lessons about patience and self-care. This journey is more than about my office. It's a reminder that we all experience continual growth as we navigate our paths. We must embrace change and adapt, just like the rhythm of life itself.

Cheers to New Beginnings!

I couldn't be more excited to embark on this new chapter of working in my own play therapy

office. More than just a physical space, it symbolizes hard work, commitment, and the thrill of new beginnings.

Stay tuned for updates about my new play therapy office journey. Thank you for your support and patience through this transition. Here’s to new opportunities, expanded horizons, and embracing change together!

I look forward to connecting more often and sharing all the inspiration that comes from my very own office space!
